Day 23 of 30
Day 23 of 30
I’m sharing a real photo of my real bod every day for 30 days… Tonight I’ve toyed with the photo for fun, but I’ve left my body just as it was in the photo… perfectly human and real.
Day 23 musings:
🌱 Today I’m feeling lazy AF, so I kind of copped out (is that how you spell that?) on a creative photo. I shot one photo, then subtracted all but my skin, grabbed a stock photo and put it behind me.
🌱 I just had the most fabulous meal with my in laws - Wilhelm lost a football bet to his dad, and loser had to choose a unique dinner and make it for the fam (that’s kind of a great, win-win bet IMHO). Wilhelm chose to host a Greek inspired dinner for the 7 of us. He cooked it all himself & I came in at the end and set up a cozy table outside with fresh flowers, white linens and mismatched glasses. The food was divine, the atmosphere was delightful & the company/conversation was fantastic.
🌱 My sister posted a beautifulllll photo of herself today where she said she originally thought “my legs look too muscular” (we all have weird body stories we tell ourselves)… I am so proud of her and so grateful her beauty (mind, body, soul) is active and in the world
🌱 My brother in law, Theo, shared how much he loved our photos from yesterday and it meant so much to me. I love my 2 BILs sooo much and cherish my connection and friendship with them both, so to have them on my team means a whole damn lot to me
🌱 It was SO difficult not to share more photos from yesterdays shoot today!! I think I’m saving the others for after the 30 day experiment is over
🌱 I always think I won’t have enough to write for these captions and I ALWAYS have to go back in and shorten them because I write too much & Instagram stops me
🌱 I keep getting the world’s best messages… including “I’m wearing a bodysuit” “I chose a bikini” “I’m being kind to myself when I look in the mirror” “I’m appreciating my husbands compliments” “I’m forgiving myself”… I celebrate each and every one of you who shares your wins with me!!
🔥🔥 If you’re still reading this, what 3 words would your friends use to describe you?
